Terms of Use
Effective date: September 23, 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of vettereventgroup.com. They are written for website visitors and do not replace a signed client services agreement.
Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the website at vettereventgroup.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. These Terms apply to website visitors. Client photography and video engagements are governed by a separate written agreement between Jim Vetter Photography, LLC d/b/a Vetter Event Group and the client, not by these Terms alone.
Who We Are
The Site is operated by Jim Vetter Photography, LLC, doing business as Vetter Event Group ("Vetter Event Group," "we," "us," or "our"), a California limited liability company. Contact details appear at the end of these Terms and in the section titled "Content removal and copyright complaints."
Site Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, photographs, text, graphics, logos, layout, and other materials on the Site are owned by Vetter Event Group or used with permission. You may view and temporarily download content for personal, non-commercial reference. You may not copy, scrape, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission, except as allowed by law (for example, fair use).
Client-licensed use of images delivered under a services agreement is governed by that agreement (including license and portfolio terms), not by these website Terms.
Portfolio and Event Images
Selected images from client events may appear on this Site, in our portfolio, and on our social media channels, consistent with the applicable client agreement. Clients are responsible for attendee and subject consent for the uses contemplated in their agreement. If a depicted person or a rights holder wants an image or caption corrected or removed from our public channels, use the process in "Content removal and copyright complaints" below.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Site in a way that violates law or infringes anyone's rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, related systems, or data;
- interfere with the Site's operation, security, or other users' access; or
- submit false, misleading, or abusive information through contact forms or other Site features.
Third-Party Links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices. Your use of those sites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Information on the Site (including pricing ranges, timelines, and service descriptions) is for general information and may change; binding commercial terms are set out only in a signed or accepted proposal, statement of work, or services agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vetter Event Group and its members, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability related to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars (USD $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. This section does not limit remedies available under a separate client services agreement.
Content removal and copyright complaints
If you believe an image, caption, or other text on this Site, our portfolio channels, or our social media is inaccurate, offensive, depicts you without appropriate authorization for that use, or otherwise should be corrected or removed, please contact us. Include:
- your name and a working email address;
- a link or clear description of the content (page URL, social post, or image description);
- what you are requesting (removal, correction, or other); and
- why you believe the change is warranted.
We log every request, acknowledge receipt within two (2) business days, and complete our review. When we agree the request is valid, we remove or edit the content within five (5) business days of that determination. If we decline, we reply with the reason. Where the content came from a client event, we may notify the client as part of handling the request.
Copyright infringement notices. If you believe material on the Site or our public channels infringes your copyright, send a written notice that includes:
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it;
- your contact information (mailing address, telephone number, and email);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner; and
- your physical or electronic signature.
